Life Care Planning & Medical Cost Projections
LIfe Care Planning involves a comprehensive holistic assessment of an individual with catastrophic or person injury that results in a disability and future medical care. We develop Life Care Plans that outline the individual's needs to include current medical, rehabilitative, and environmental aspects, project costs associated with those future needs, to include equipment, supplies, medical, and rehabilitation over the life span of the individual. Life Care Planning requires consideration for post injury functional capabilities and preventative care to maintain comfort, avoid complications, and progress the individual towards a premorbid/preinjury function.
Medical Cost Projections tend to be less comprehensive than Life Care Plans and may focus on future medical treatment for a single body part or condition and may not project the cost of care for the life span.
