• Utilize experience and professional nursing expertise to screen cases for merit
• Analyze medical records, identify missing records, & screen for tampering
• Develop medical chronologies and time lines
• Determine deviations in standards of care
• Utilize clinically active clinicians with expertise in the nursing or medical specialty
• Write interrogatories and deposition questions
• Serve as a liaison between attorneys, healthcare providers, & testifying experts
• Identify and locate expert witnesses
• Conduct literature searches, integrate standards of care & authoritative guidelines into analysis

Independent Medical Exam (IME) Attendance
Nurses are trained observers that have distinct assessment skills essential to strengthen your case. Attendance at IME's by a Legal Nurse Consultant (LNC) will provide attorney's with medical observation of the examination process, give key insight on the examination, and provide verbal and/or typed summary reports post examination. Nurses could serve as a silent observer with the nursing/medical knowledge and expertise.
